Pete’s a media all-rounder.
Having started in the industry from the age of 15, Peter has achieved a wide body of work, across a number of different stations.
Peter was the voice of M-Sport on the Triple M network for a number of years and worked as a journalist there. In addition to this, he also works as an fill-in on-air presenter at 1116 SEN, hosting various programs, and for the past couple of years has been covering the Wimbledon Championships for the station.
Peter also runs his own business BPM Media, specialising in online sports broadcasting and podcasting.
Despite being able to provide content across a variety of radio styles (music/talkback/news), Peter’s current focus is on sports broadcasting.
In January, Peter provides commentary for the Hopman Cup, the Hobart International Tennis tournament, and is a leading commentator on AO Radio during the Australian Open.
He also travels to Paris each year to provide French Open Commentary for an American TV broadcaster. Peter also works with ABC Television, providing commentary for the VFL and WNBL.
Outside of his extensive broadcasting career, Peter is also a lecturer at Swinburne University, specialising in Radio. Career highlights include covering the 2006 Commonwealth Games, commentating the Australian Open Mens and Womens Finals and providing world feed commentary for volleyball, beach volleyball and tennis at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.
