COURSE DESCRIPTION

If you want to know about making podcasts, this course is for you. 

Students will be taught a comprehensive set of creative and technical skills that will help create a professional sounding podcast.

Course Content

The course lecturers are all experienced podcasters and radio professionals who will cover a diverse set of skills, including:

• Audio Production (mic set up, soundproofing recording and editing)
• Creativity & Idea generation
• Interview techniques
• Storytelling/Engaging Audiences
• Social Media & Self-promotion
• Growing an audience

Learning Outcomes

Over the course units, students will carry out exercises relevant to the unit topic and receive professional feedback throughout the course and beyond.

Upon completion, students will be able to produce, promote and professionally execute a high quality podcast ready for public distribution.
